Rabdan Academy announced today that it has been awarded the “Validated by EFQM” certification from the European Foundation for Quality Management, making it the first higher education institution in the UAE to receive this prestigious accreditation.

The Academy's official recognition reflects its commitment to the highest standards of institutional excellence, through its adoption of the European Foundation for Quality Management's Excellence Model, its commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in performance, and its adoption of a proven strategic approach to excellence.

His Excellency James Morse, President of Rabdan Academy, said that the Academy's achievement of this prestigious certification reflects its unwavering commitment to institutional excellence across all its operations. It also embodies the tireless efforts exerted to achieve its strategic aspirations as a leading educational, training, and research institution that provides an integrated academic and professional environment for individuals and institutions, and delivers added value to its students and partners.

He emphasized the Academy's commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience through its dual learning system, which combines academic and professional learning within an integrated, interactive environment in the fields of safety, security, defense, emergency preparedness, and crisis management. Rabdan Academy underwent a comprehensive evaluation according to the European Foundation for Quality Management's standards. The evaluation report demonstrated the Academy's achievement of advanced levels in various areas, including institutional innovation, developing partnerships, improving operational processes, and enhancing institutional efficiency. It also commended the Academy's ability to implement a continuous improvement approach based on the RADAR methodology, which enhances the sustainability of institutional performance and ensures tangible results in the long term.
